Anyone have any experience or knowledge of Spinal Cord Stimulators?

I'm going for a Consult tomorrow on getting a possible Spinal Cord Stimulator put in, they first do a one
week trial. Just wondering if anyone on here has one, ever tried one or know anyone with one. My insurance
will pay for it but I have to get it done before the end of the year, after 12/31/11 no more insurance for
me, unless I go temporarily to Cobra and I doubt I'll be able to afford it. I only know one person with one
and she's in such bad shape from a horrendous auto accident that nothing gives her much relief.
