I remember going out to see Leno in the 80's and he was blisteringly funny. Major funny. Make you hoarse funny.

Agreed.

Those were the days.

I never saw him in person, but I did see all the time on Johnny Carson, even his first time in the infamous green suit. He did great standup. And he was pretty good as a guest host.

I thought I'd really like his show when he took over for Johnny, but I didn't.
