B$. The Midwest of the United States is the part of the world that most tornadoes occur in. There is no other place in the world where continental polar and maritime tropical air can slam into each other to produce the violent storms that produce tornadoes. NONE. That map shows the Midwest and California in the same color. Tornados are exceptionally rare in California.

That is a horrible map. I Can't believe that NOAA is the source of that map. Unbelievable.

That map show South Korea as a likely place for tornadoes. B$. I spent three years in South Korea, and I never , not even once heard of a tornado occurring there.

Shame on NOAA.
