They're using a drag and drop front end for it, and writing minimal actual code in C# (as I understand it). My son has already finished his first simple game.. a version of Asteroids involving Penguins and Cats, and is working on a version of Frogger.. not sure what kind of critters are involved.
It's pre-packaged for kids, and not full on software development. But enough to give him a 'taste' and give him some success, much better than the old "Hello World" first exercise.
Of course the first actual program I wrote at 13 was a four letter word generator. What can I say.. I was a teenaged boy. :biggrin:
