WD Elements drive flaking out after 8 months.

I should have mentioned that I did take the drive out of the case, as the connector (micro USB) is the flaky part, as others have mentioned. At least, that is what I thought but running DU on it yields the "invalid node" message. So, that would not be the connection, correct?
What is the other pin connector next to the USB connection? can I try that? |
