I do not mean to offer this as medical advice but there is a very interesting research case being conducted by a nearby doctor whose husband has early onset Alzheimer's. It is not a cure but does hold promise to help offset the disease for awhile. Consider it is a natural substance and does not interfere with any other treatment, there is no harm in trying it if she needs.
