Dilemma being reviewed; at the store...
#1
Road trip this coming weekend, and car has been running rough lately, so took car in for service bright and early this morning. Mrs. Buzz followed, to give me a lift back, and then informed me after I got in the car that we were going to the grocery store because we needed a few things, plus she needed an Rx refill. Had not planned on going, but didn't have a choice :-).

Told the manager about the dilemma from Monday...
Dilemma, dilemma...

and asked how somebody could get such a two hundred dollar discount on groceries. He couldn't come up with an explanation, and took down the information; time, register, transaction #, etc., and was going to review the videotape. When I asked him about the absence of management at the time, he double checked a couple of things related to Monday afternoon, but didn't confirm anything specific, but acknowledged whatever he found needed to be looked into a bit more.

That's it for me. Hopefully the register receipt and videotape will provide everything management needs... I got the feeling that management generally doesn't bother with scrutinizing that stuff unless/until irregularities are noticed, meaning that if the checker keeps rescanning a bunch of cheap items while shuffling the expensive items across without being scanned, it's not going to attract attention unless somebody calls attention to it. The manager did say that too many price adjustments and voids would trigger management attention, and that it is rare to get more than a $25 credit on a rewards card. Peace, out.
