Maybe it's not as big of a deal for me this time around, but 4 years ago Biden certainly helped solidify my position to support Obama since Joe was easily one if my favorites from the early Democratic primaries. It was the best possible ticket for me at the time and nothing has changed in that regard (outside of maybe Hillary as VP and I was never much of a fan).
