Black, it's late even on the west coast.
1. sand the door and upper window frame. Prime.
2. got a molding supplier local? get new molding if you do. Prime and install.
3. Caulk edges and if gaps are too wide use foam "wormy" filler to narrow the gaps and fill with caulk.
4. Take the door off and block the doorway (weather permitting) and prime and paint.
5. Oil everything.
