It's never enough to just read the posted article -- following on to the original report adds more nuance to the issues involved. Although the people involved quickly moved down to an area that was not private property, the feed-lot owners insisted in pressing charges anyways. Their stated rationale was protecting "food security," which was really a smokescreen. They can't seriously think that a photographer from National Geographic was there for the purpose of poisoning the cattle. Whatever they say, their true fear is in being photographed.
I knew that, but still, the arrest had nothing to do with "taking pictures while paragliding" or "abusing wildlife" , as stated by the nimrods that suggested such.
