I might in the market for a new computer. My iMac is an early 2008 and it is nearing the end of line for OS upgrades
Why should I opt the iMac with Retina Display vs. the standard display version?
I do not sit so close to the monitor that I can see the pixels on my 1920 x 1200 display.
The Retina iMac does not work in Target Display mode. The internal video circuitry is not compatible with the display port. So the prospect of using it with future version of the Mac mini when it comes time to upgrade the computer cannot be planned upon.
Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.
TIA
