how long does apple hardware test take 2 run?
it seems like for-ever!
i'm testing a 2010 imac i7 2/12gig ram
the airport in the imac "disappeared" months ago.
i have been living off being tethered to a ethernet cable.
i have tried re-setting by:
airport off
applications->library->preferences->system config-preferences.plist
trash preferences.plist
re-boot.
unfortunately, the airport in the imac was not "found".
(i see the airport listed under "about this mac" so i know it is there.)
somehow when i was screwing around with network preferences/set-up, i managed to disable to
he airport and i could never get it back working.
what a hassle.
so i decided to run the apple hardware test (hold down "d" when re-booting) but the darn thing is going on for a really long time.
so, anyone with experience using aht?
thanks in advance.
be well.
