I've found the only way to get any action out of Comcast is to embarrass them on Twitter. The phone support is mostly offshore and completely useless (if you don't key in your phone number in the voice mail, you usually get an American call center--but they're still useless), and the B&M "stores" are even more useless.
They do get the message when you tell thousands of people how much they suck, in great detail, apparently.
