Best (simple and easy) SW for jpg image reduction? + My 10.5.8 to 10.8.4 upgrade

Is there a dedicated program for image reduction that is comparable in ease of use? Ideally I'd be able to drag and drop an image on the program, choose a size with a radio button or from a pulldown menu, enter a file name and hit return.
