and Chanukkah isn't Christmas. In fact, this year it starts a month before Christmas. Not even remotely the same holiday.

For instance, Diwali is the Hindu Festival of Lights (celebrated November 3 this year). Chanukkah is the Festival of Lights. That doesn't make Diwali Chanukkah.
