Sounds like it's a DVD extra that should not have been leaked?
I thought it might have aired on finale night because one of the Youtube commenters said so.
I personally doubt that the Newhart ending had anything to do with this... it seemed like everyone and their dog was suggesting this ending and thinking it was the most original idea ever uttered.
