I thought Verizon LTE used SIM cards and the cards could be swapped with other Verizon LTE phones? No?

To the OP,
If you have another LTE Verizon phone, try swapping SIM cards and see what happens. It should work. You will however need to disable iMessages or it will screw everything up (assuming the new phone isn't an iPhone).
