Yeah, they (y'know; "they") weren't kidding when they said Winter is Coming. It's a long winter for Mac users.

What I love is when an analyst shows up and says "sales of [Macintosh model] are flat" and cite that "the glory days are over". I guess they are flat, when there's nothing new to buy.

Again, cash in hand, I've been waiting for a new Thunderbolt Display for nearly a year. The current model (again, sporting USB2 and TB1) is now 991 days old.

I'm not in the market for one, but the Mac mini is now 587 days old.

I'm starting to think maybe those "do you hear the bell tolling" guys have a point.
