Can an AirPort Extreme (5th, last "flat" model) not be setup via WiFi?

There should be a reset button on the back - you'll need a pen or pencil tip to push it. Hold it until the light flashes, maybe yellow, maybe orange.

I've never set up an Airport device over WiFi, so I don't know how/if that works.

But, if you've got a spare ethernet cable handy, plug your machine into one of the LAN ports and set it up that way.
