Presumably, you could replace the regular hard drive with a 2.5" SSD though.
It may be that the slot for the Fusion drive SSD will be used for the SSD-only option.
In that case, there might be a mount and a SATA port that can be used if you want to add a hard drive. Some iMacs had that config... others were made without the mounting posts and with only a painted spot on the mobo to indicate where the SATA port would go.
Just speculation until someone cracks one open.
