Do people actually pay $415 per month for a cell phone plan?
#6
I'm grandfathered in (Cingular>ATT) with Unlimited Data, 450 Anytime Minutes (which rollover for 12 months), 5000 Night & Weekend Minutes and NO texts for about $65/month (including taxes, after employer discount). I've NEVER even come close to using 450 minutes in a month but, regularly go over 20GB of data. The ONLY reason I've stayed with ATT is because of my Unlimited Data. If ATT ever cancels my Unlimited Data, I'll drop them. Back in January, I ported my copper Verizon landline of 30+ years Cry , to a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Unlimited Talk, Text AND Data. With taxes, I pay just over $90 / month. If Samsung had made the Note available in NATIVE 64GB, I would have jumped on that and abandoned iOS. In the next year or two, I expect to consolidate and, drop one of my cell plans. Which one I'll keep is the big question. I hate iOS7 (even after a year's use) and, have been holding off going to iOS8 (and Yosemite). I'll give it LOTS of time before I "upgrade" to either. A couple of months ago, I grabbed a 64GB iPad Mini. It was at a good price AND, was still on iOS6. I'm being VERY careful to NOT let that "upgrade" for now.
