Yeah. That's likely true, even still, I'm not using a $650 Android phone either.
Luckily some sub $200 phones have NFC and Google (Android?) Wallet support.My Fire Phone might even work with Google Wallet if I sideload the GAPPS again.
I gave one of my God Daughters this phone (HTC Evo 4G LTE Sprint) this phone) and she rocks the hell out of it. Pays for everything with the wallet. Her friend bought one on Craigslist for $40 dollars. That's a years old phone.
