Won't it also set a precedent so that perhaps other companies in the future WON'T just roll over. Assuming they win.
Only if other companies can use Newgg's data/defense to support their own claim, and they have the resources to fight Minero, et al, in court. That's time and money that the target demographic usually lacks.
If one has a company that will go under, but be otherwise be "right", it's not hard to see why they might "roll over".
Note that the tribute demanded of these companies likely isn't enough to break them, in most cases.
