Do any of you have a counter height dining table?

If you need to put two tables together and don't care about the looks, you can easily make sleeves that the feet of the shorter table slide into. I did it with a folding card table in 20 minutes. Cut the head off a long screw, chucked it up in a drill, ran it into a broom handle. Used a sharp knife to whittle the broom handle down so it would fit into the leg, then cut the piece to length. Repeat 3 more times. With wooden legs, just get PVC pipe big enough to slip over the leg, then cut the broom handle to length and slide it in the PVC pipe below the table leg.
