I definitely understand the reason you want low-profile. It definitely looks neater. Not as functional in my experience but definitely neater. I switched to full motion only when I found a low-profile model caused problems with cable connections in the back of the TV. The mount didn't allow the TV to be far enough from the wall. Cables were getting scrunched, causing bad connections. That and in one case, due to placement, I needed the TV to be tilting noticeably towards the right. The mounts you linked wouldn't have allowed for it.
