Thanks all ! You've given me more to think about !

I'll happily work on a car. There are things I won't do because I am liable to murder the car (or myself). I like the idea of a 'simpler' car.. golliwog technopop gizmos make me twitchy when I open the hood. Then again, an uber reliable vehicle is nice... no more carbuertors ! (blech).

I might just take my civic, fix the holes and add a few tuner type hidden things like a K&R air intake and drive it to death for another three years.
