Apple credit card gotcha

A gotcha for me, anyway. I don't need the card, but would sort of like to have it. Couldn't remember why I had decided not to pursue it so I went into wallet and clicked on Apply. And the snag appeared immediately: you must have two-factor authentication enabled. I did that briefly when I got my current iPhone and thought I was going to go nuts while it was active. I can't go through that crap on a regular basis. No card for me.
