- creamed tuna on toast
- canned chicken, with hoisin or similar sauce, on rice
prepared in big batch to be multiple meals:
- slumgullion
- quiche with sausage or ham bits
- Japanese curry made with cheap porkchops, over rice or ramen
- boneless chicken legs slow cooked with Indian simmer sauce, over rice
- chicken pie (chicken/peas/carrots in white sauce, topped with biscuits or toast strips)
