Will students involved in the college cheating scandal face any charges?

I haven't been following this closely at all, but I'd hope that no kid profited from this, once it was known what the parents did.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about criminal charges, but at the very least I'd expect a negative notation on their permanent record.
