WiFi: subject to interference and 'intrusion'.
Cat6: constant high speed and more secure.
I only use WiFi in the house when there's no other choice (iPhone/iPad, etc.).
Everything else is Cat6 wiring.
My setup--
Router to MP & 8-port Gigabit switch.
8-port:
Router (source), 2x Printers, Obi VOiP, NAS, HD HomeRun, 5-port @ A/V, 1x open.
5-port:
8-port (source), TV, ATV, BluRay, A/V Receiver.
