I don't buy Duracell anymore, the last decade I have seen near 100% leakage. Though my son recently replaced the Duracell batteries in his infrequently used Maglite purchased at least a dozen years ago and they had not leaked
I have one batch of AA's from them, all but 2 never used, and the unused ones all leaked in storage. Those were bought about 5 years ago. Since I won't be getting anymore from them, not worth calling in and getting coupons for replacement.
Going back a few years ago, there were reports that you could get decent batteries from Duracell if you stuck with specific types and manufacturing locations. But that no longer seems to apply to any of their stuff.
