This reminds me of our systems admin here at work. He will replace an employee's keyboard b/c their "M" key stopped working. But he will keep the old keyboard. B/c why? Someone might need a keyboard that cannot type an "M"?
Nothing wrong with that. I definitely have a keyboard with a left shift that doesn't work sitting around just in case.
