The real "denazification"
#1
There's a story today of Putin making a new speech that seeks to --- wait for it --- normalize what Russia is doing in Ukraine.

Setting aside his insanity for a moment here's a history lesson:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/history/2...ii-russia/

In 1941 the Russians fought Nazi-occupied Kiev and suffered a tremendous loss. Russia did capture Kiev in 1943 for the Allies but not without more vicious loss.

The Babyn Yar ravine would be the site of an estimated 100K executions, a third of which were Jews.

This week, a Russian missile struck near Babyn Yar, now within Kyiv’s city limits, adding five more people to the notorious death toll.

I really don't see Putin using the bizarre "denazification" claim for much longer, if at all.
