Hmm, Canada is having a surge that seems to be from the new mutations. They are several weeks behind the US in vaccinating essential workers that are crossing the border (mostly truckers). That could be a partial source of the recent wave.

Edit: They just announced the Canadian F1 GP has been cancelled for this year (week leading up to June 13) due to high cases.
