One political note on gas prices

I told him that if gas prices were the only metric he used to rate a presidents job performance, he might want to broaden his mind a little.

clearly another person that doesn't remember the 70s gas crises or odd/even fueling days... or stations with signs saying "no gas".

I remember those days, and turning the oil furnace down, and only running christmas lights until 9pm, instead of all night.

A lot of musclecars got crushed back then, just because of gas prices.
