Brother MFC-L3750CDW no duplex scanning
#16
gadje,

I find that slight tilting is common when it comes to scans as performed via an all-in-one's auto document feeder (ADF). Doesn't matter which brand. It's just the nature of the design of the machines and how the ADF pulls in the paper. The only way to ensure there is no tilt is to use the flatbed. Not a huge issue when scanning one side of a single page. Definite annoyance when scanning both sides of a single page or two or more sides of a multipage document.

I don't find this to be an issue with vertically placed ADFs like the one on the Fujitsu iX1500 or ix1600. In that case, drop the docs on the scanner. Make sure they're not tilted and the combination of the pickup roller and gravity ensures there is no tilt at all. If there is tilt, it isn't due to the design of the machine. It's due to poor placement of the document on the part of the user.
