Traveling around California, you really see how MANY Tesla's (and other EV's, but the Tesla's are the most visible) there are here. And yes, the sales have outstripped the SuperChargers.
As little as a year ago, our local SuperCharger (in front of a local Mall, not far from my house... I pass it many afternoons) was between 1/2 and 3/4 full on a busy afternoon. Now I haven't seen it less than FULL the last few times I've driven by.
I hope Tesla DOES kick into high gear building and expanding SuperChargers... AND buying up old gas stations and old fast food restaurants next to the road to build new dual use facilities (quick snack and charge? Coffee and charge?).
