Did you ever try to boot from an external HD and see what Disk Utility says about the internal drives?
So, I got it all back together and booted it from a thumb drive - but now it's only trying to install macOS - I got to disk utility and it shows the NEW Micron drive and the thumb drive but after closing disk utility it asks where I want to install macOS and the only drive it gives as an option is the thumb drive which it say doesnt have enough space (of course). So, in disk utility it's NOT showing my spinner that I left in there plugged in. Only the new 980GB SSD I just put it......so what do I do next? Here are some photos
When I booted it up I held down OPTION but it didnt show me the various drives it jsut went straight to the installer.....?
