Good support - Satechi

I have an original M1 Mac Mini (purchased gently used from a fellow MRFer), and I added an external USBC SSD/hub from Satechi. 'Zero foot print' USBhub etc.

Worked fine until May 25 of this year, when it stopped recognizing the SSD.

I tried to trouble-shoot, etc, nothing worked. Put it on a shelf as I was too lazy to recycle it.

I ended up contacting them in case there could be a firmware update etc (was out of warranty). They asked me for info etc. In the end, they offered to replace it. I was only out shipping.

Sent out a little over a week ago, got it back today. Reinstalled the SSD, it's working fine now.

I hope they take it apart for product development / QC issues.

Posting good service/support when I can.
