That seems harsh.
Maybe only the tiniest possible bit.
He may have ran his company on the up and up, trying to make it a going concern, and maybe he will.
But the guy, SEAL or no SEAL, is a mess, and not one bit reliable, despite his military service.
Maybe he'll eventually rely on TBI as the reason for his war and non-war relate injuries not making much sense.
If the USPS Ranger had occasion to check the gun and and observe a missing bullet, I'd guess Sheehy at some point said he was shot.
Given the gun is most likely of a design that probably shouldn't have fired from such a small drop (while loading or unloading a vehicle) I wish the ranger had taken the gun into custody for further examination.
But he probably felt much ado about nothing...
