It's more cloyingly sweet than I remember and the cookie part is a little bit too crispy. I'm probably wrong. Somethin' ain't right.
This is why I stopped eating Oreos, for the most part.
The Lemon are still an occasional weakness.
I've noticed this over the course of consuming many Oreos, consistently, with no break from childhood, when Oreos were a treat, after suffering Hydrox cookies.
As for GSA cookies, Somoas are the only cookie I buy from them — they're my kryptonite.
And I don't buy unless a Girl Scout initiates a sales attempt.
A box of their cookies is a single serving, once all the packaging is removed.
Their cookies not a good bang for the buck, given the cookie aisle and bakery section in Safeway is a few steps away.
But I realized I'm paying to support the GSA more than for the cookie.
So they need to make the sale, and not Mommy doing it for them.
The Scouts don't need to channel their inner Lou Bookman, just be the one to sell me some Somoas.
And that's not that difficult, LOL.
