Honestly, the forum actually scales correctly on Safari on iOS18.3. The type is small but legible and usable with my readers on a standard size iPhone at standard resolution. That's about all you can ask for. "Not working" would be defined as scaling doesn't happen correctly causing part of the screen to appear off screen, requiring scrolling...or just inaccessible.
The chance of anyone at OWC creating a mobile friendly version themselves is slim to none. They chose one of the easiest off the shelf solutions for the new forum. The they did us a huge favor of jumping through 1000 hoops to import all of the old Forum history for us. There is now way they are going to pay someone to code a custom mobile solution since it does "work" and there are apps already out there to make it more friendly.
I can access the forum on my Android phone using Firefox, but it's so small that I have to enlarge it quite a lot to be able to see it, let alone read anything. Makes for a lot of scrolling and difficulty in reading or posting.
I've only had a mobile phone for about a year and I'm still learning about a lot of things and I didn't know about Tapatalk. Thanks.
Do I understand this correctly, that OWC has to install a plugin and join the Tapatalk network for us to be able to use Tapatalk with the new forum? If that's done then we have to create a Tapatalk account and link it to our forum account to be able to access the forum? Thanks.
