Yep. Different parts of the spectrum have different effects.
My dermatologist said that not many people respond to the red light, though. You have to have that sensitivity built in to have it make much of a difference.
On the other hand, check out syntonics for how the automatic nervous system responds to specific colors of light. My father, a developmental/behavioral optometrist used optometric syntonics in his practice for years.
