Remember when cable cost $18 a month and there were no commercials?

The amount of commercials on cable channels these days is unbearable. Sales knucklehead at Comcast can't figure out why I refuse to upgrade from basic garbage package to more expensive, digital garbage package.

When I tell him programming stinks and commercials are out of control, he blames the networks, not good ol' Comcast. Poor Comcast only raises rates because nasty networks are charging good ol' Comcast more and more and good ol' Comcast is only trying to offer me more and better choices.

When I offer to sell sales knucklehead a fine ol' bridge in Brooklyn, he politely declines my offer. Go figure?

Maybe time for Tivo?
