Setting up to receive faxes?

A job I'm working on would go easier if I could receive faxes to my home office. I have one phone line and DSL (connected from my telephone wall jack to my ethernet port). My surge protector has two phone OUT ports and one phone IN port. What do I need to do to set up for receiving faxes? I've done the steps in System Prefs -> Print/Fax.
