It is really hard to find a newer small digital that uses CF cards. I looked before I bought my daughter one because I too already had CF cards. I bought my daughter a fuji finepix 345 that is 4.1 mp. She likes it, but I haven't used it enough to give a review. It is usually $125 or less when you can find a deal. I got hers at Buy.com when it was on sale and I had a coupon.
I just bought myself the cheapo hp M307 that CompUSA had on sale for $59 last week. It is a 3.2 MP and that really is plenty good enough for most things. It has a 3X optical zoom and 5X digital zoom. I like it OK, but I haven't had it but a few days. I wanted a lighter backup for my old Epson.
Geeks.com has a good bundle on sale. The link is below. This was posted a week or so back. It is the Polaroid PDC 5080 5.1 MP camera. It has 4X zoom, but I think it is only digital, no optical, if that matters. I couldn't find out much about the camera, but for $89 with the extras of a 256MB card and a case and a tripod, and batteries, and a card reader, how wrong can you go. Use code: GEEK5080 after you put it in your cart to get the extras. It should show you the details of the free bundle. I almost bought this one just before they had the $59 one at CompUSA.

Oh yes, they have the Canon A520 on clearance at Target, YMMV, for $148 at my store.
