OT:Anyone viewed Grizzly Man movie?

Treadwell was nutz....I don't see how he was protecting the grizzly by getting around them ....never explained how they were endangered in the places he was going...The documentary is very interesting but makes him out like a god. I'm sorry. Just don't see how he was helping the environs/flora and fauna.

I don't know how you came to those conclusions. Nothing about the docvumentary made him out to be a "god". He was clearly not a normal guy, very obsessive and a little crazy. If you know anything about Werner Herzog, you know why he was interested in this guy.

One of the criticisms Treadwell's friends made of the documentary was that it didn't make clear that Treadwell actually was doing some good out there.

Poaching deaths in the area are up since Treadwell's death. He was in fact a hindrance to greedy, ignorant assholes who are once again slaughtering grizzlies to make bear souvenirs and bogus "health" products for pathetic, self-indulgent men.
