MacBook: Display DEAD - How will Apple deal with this?

OK - First of all -I DID call Apple earlier and was on the phone with them for an hour. They told me to hang on to it another day to see if the display problems kept happening.

I'm not flipping out. I'm just really frustrated about this - and have every right to be. It shouldn't be a coin toss as to whether or not I'm going to get a working unit or a lemon.
