I've been trying to move away from Quicken for a few versions; the last one I bought (and was using) was the 2004 edition. A friend has the latest one and says it's a pile of dog poop.
I looked at a couple of possibilities, including iBank ( http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/11612 , which is a Universal Binary) and Moneydance ( http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/12094 ).
I'm using Moneydance for a short bit and really like it. I've only done some rudimentary checkbooking and a few reports (easier reports on Moneydance than Quicken, at least for my needs). Proof of longevity will come when I do reconcile when I get my statement.
Just a heads up, and a query to anyone using it as to their thoughts.
