Suggestions on DVD recorder/receiver for home theater

[quote Sam3]Too bad it records off the air programs in mono. In this day and age of MTS stereo coming from broadcast stations, this is not right.That fact alone sank this unit as an option.
I've been reading about that and i also one reason I've been holding off also. I was hoping it would be upgraded soon to stereo.
